Aeromexico: Connecting Queretaro With The World
Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, announced that, starting October 1st, it will begin operating a twice-daily service between Mexico City and Queretaro to boost its connectivity in the Mexican Bajio region.
The new route, strategically chosen to connect passengers to over 80 destinations in Mexico and around the world will be served by 50-seater Embraer 145 airliners, on the following schedules:

“The state of Queretaro has experienced tremendous growth not only in terms of tourism, but also in several sectors in which it has taken on a leading role in Mexico, such as the aeronautical industry. This is why Aeromexico—together with our partner Delta Air Lines—opened TechOps in Queretaro, as the most modern state-of-the-art MRO in all of Latin America,” said Anko van der Werff, Chief Revenue Officer at Aeromexico.
“Passengers traveling from Queretaro, and in particular business travelers, will go through Aeromexico’s main hub at Terminal 2 in the Mexico City International Airport, from which they can safely and easily connect to the more than 40 cities we serve in Mexico, in addition to our 16 destinations in the United States, 15 in Latin America, three in Canada and Europe, and two in Asia.
By adding these new services to the three daily flights operated by the airline from Monterrey, Aeromexico is set to consolidate its presence in Queeétaro and the Bajio region, as well as offer customers better connectivity options and contribute to the development of this all-important Mexican state.

New app for Expats in Mexico: Pay all your Mexican bills in one place
SimplePay is allowing users to pay for their monthly/year nills (utilities, HOA, property taxes, trust, etc) and more services specificly created for Expats living in México.
SimplePay was created by young Mexican entrepeneus who went to college in the US, but understand the need of Expats. This app was created to assist with the payment process for different services in Mexico.
As its name suggests, SimplePay app is here to simplify getting used to a different administrative system in a new country. The language barrier can be an obstacle for opening new bank accounts, or any other situation that can be a pain in the neck. Sometimes these processes are just not simple in Mexico, especially government procedures.
The CEO of SimplePay, Oscar Herrera, said that the idea for the app came to mind when he lived in U.S. expat communities in Puerto Vallarta and Tijuana and noticed the difficulties for these types of payments.
SimplePay provides several essential services for users to pay their utilities, including water, gas and electricity. It also helps users access online services like insurance and real estate titles, and even features a callback option from a billingual assistant.
Herrera spoke of noticing this problem. “It is very common for my English speaking neighbors whose Spanish is rusty to ask me for help translating from lawyers, doctors, cleaning ladies and others”, he said during an interview with ExpatForum. “So I wanted to develop a somple way for someone to request a call back for translation on demand”.
The app doesn’t require the user to have a bank account as it works through Paypal, and also has the option of setting reminders for payment days.

Lanza SENASICA nueva app para viajeros que quieren saber… ¿Qué T traes?
Ante la necesidad cada vez mayor de la gente que viaja a México por llevar alimentos de los países que se visitan, SAGARPA y el Servicio Nacional de Sanidad, Inocuidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria (SENASICA) lanzaron una nueva app que funciona tanto para Apple como para Android.
Esta útil herramienta, permitirá al usuario durante su viaje, determinar si los productos que está comprando pueden ser o no introducidos en México, evitando así, riesgos sanitarios y pasar malos ratos al ingresar al país frente a las autoridades sanitarias.
A principios del mes de diciembre de 2016, en el marco de la Expo Agroalimentaria organizada por la Segretaría de Agricultura, Ganadería, Desarrollo Rural y Pesca (SAGARPA), se lanzó la App “Qué T Traes”. Se expuso que con esta App, lo que se pretende es que los viajeros se informen acerca de los lineamientos para evitar la entrada de plagas y enfermedades a nuestro país, a fin de generar e incrementar la cultura sanitaria en la sociedad mexicana.
La principal herramienta de la app es: “Pasa o no Pasa”, en la que se podrán conocer los requisitos para ingresar a México con alimentos y saber con anticipación los productos que están prohibidos para su ingreso.

México: Destino favorito para trabajadores extranjeros
México es un país óptimo para encontrar el equilibrio financiero para los expatriados ya que gastan menos al día y gozan de mayores ingresos disponibles, lo que les permite tener una mayor capacidad de ahorro, adquirir propiedades y tener vacaciones costosas.
De acuerdo con la encuesta Expat Explorer que HSBC realiza cada año desde 2007, Vietnam, Qatar, República Checa y México son los mejores destinos en cada región para que los expatriados mejoren su nivel de vida.
Dean Blackburn, director de expatriados de HSBC, indicó que “el manejo de las finanzas es clave para vivir en el extranjero. Eso puede ser difícil, pero no debería ser imposible, no importa a dónde lo lleve su viaje de expatriado, una planificación detallada y asesoría profesional pueden ayudarle a prosperar en el extranjero”.
En lo que respecta a Canadá y Estados Unidos, casi la mitad de los expatriados en estos países reportan una mayor capacidad de ahorro desde que se mudaron. Para expatriados jóvenes ansiosos de comprar una propiedad, Canadá es uno de los mejores destinos a nivel mundial, ya que más de un cuarto de los expatriados que viven ahí pueden pagar su propio hogar desde que se mudaron.
Medio Oriente puede ser la mejor región para tener recompensas financieras y gozar de un mayor nivel de vida a nivel global. Más de tres cuartas partes de los extranjeros en Qatar experimentaron un incremento en sus ingresos disponibles como resultado de haberse mudado, lo cual les ayuda a mejorar su planeación a largo plazo. De cada cuatro expatriados, uno afirma que vivir en Qatar le permitió poseer una propiedad adicional.
En la región Asia-Pacífico, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Malasia y Singapur se destacan por ofrecerle a los expatriados la oportunidad de ahorrar más dinero y de gozar de un mayor ingreso disponible.
En Europa, la República Checa y Suiza son los mejores países para quienes ahorran.Suiza es donde se ofrecen los salarios más altos a nivel mundial, ya que los extranjeros reciben 181 mil dólares por año comparado con un promedio global de 104 mil dólares.
